Between the plain of La Broye and the Great Marsh lies Vully, a bucolic, relaxing, wine-producing area in the heart of Switzerland’s vegetable garden. Nestled between three lakes, its vineyards enjoy the mild climate that is discernible in the warm welcome offered by its inhabitants.

This veritable heaven of greenery invites one to taste its fruity, sparkling wines and its many culinary specialities on the third Sunday in July.

The 5km walk, with its superb panoramic views on Lake Murten, is divided into 5 gastronomic stops. Each adult participant receives a boater, a glass for wine-tasting, and a glass holder coloured with the hues of the promenade. All along the way the walkers also become acquainted with the didactic sign boards explaining the work of the vineyards and wine-making.
